Greater Oklahoma City is in the geographic center of North America equidistant from the east and west coasts and major trade partners of Canada and Mexico. The ten county region is at the crossroads of the U.S., sitting at the heart of three major national highways on the NAFTA corridor.
There's a reason Greater Oklahoma City is such a great place for business: Location. The ten county region is positioned within a day's drive of the rapidly-growing south-central region (OK, TX, AR, LA) projected to grow more than 44% during the next 25 years.
With one of the country's strongest housing markets and both per-capita income and population increasing faster than national averages, Oklahoma City lands at lucky number 13 on Marcus & Millichap's "Top 15 Retail Markets" list.

ATLANTA - More than 60 Oklahomans will take the floor of the Georgia World Congress Center here this week, providing a big presence for the state at one of the world's largest industry networking events, the BIO (Biotechnology Industry Organization) 2009 trade show.
The Oklahomans will be seeking to connect with potential business partners, clients and investors among the anticipated 20,000 people at the annual convention of the Biotechnology Industry Organization.
The convention began Monday and continues through Thursday.
The Oklahoma contingent is a mix of economic development officers, researchers and entrepreneurs. Their goal is to showcase Oklahoma's flourishing life sciences community in front of a vast industry audience.
"It's an opportunity for Oklahoma scientists and early stage companies to find people to collaborate and partner with," said Robin Roberts-Krieger, executive vice president of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce. "It's very unusual in an industry where you can go to one place and bring everyone together."
The Oklahoma group also will host more than 200 guests tonight in a networking event sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and the Oklahoma Business Roundtable.
In addition, Oklahomans will participate in many partnering sessions throughout the show.
