A workshop to help Oklahoma health researchers create partnerships with investors and pharmaceutical companies is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Health Foundation Conference Center, 655 Research Pkwy., Suite 100.
The workshop is part of the Accelerate workshop series developed by the Oklahoma Bioscience Association to help Oklahoma-based bioscience companies accelerate their success in the marketplace.
Speakers will include John Wetherell, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman; John "Wick" Johnson, who is senior director of metabolic and endocrine diseases and is in charge of worldwide business development at Pfizer; Gerry Martin, who has licenses experience with Abbott Laboratories; and Thomas Shoaf, Stifel Private Markets.
