Paycom just keeps growing.
The Oklahoma City-based payroll processor has started an initiative to hire 30 employees in 30 days. And the "30-in-30" project may be just the beginning of another year of forward movement for Paycom, Recruiting ManAger Jim Quillen said Monday.
Resumes are sought
Those interested in applying with Paycom can send resumes to jobs@paycomonline.com. Candidates must have a four-year degree and will go through extensive testing.
"We're probably going to add between 150 and 200 people to our corporate staff in 2010," Quillen said. "I would estimate that probably a little bit more than half will be in Oklahoma City at our operations center."
Most of the jobs being sought are in sales.
Paycom has more than 300 employees, most based in Oklahoma City. Current employees can earn cash incentives if they refer a candidate who is hired by Paycom.
Paycom has 12 sales offices around the country, and plans to open two more in California in the near future, Quillen said. By the end of 2010, the company should have 16 sales offices.
"We're moving ahead aggressively to add more people who can make those (sales) contacts and then fill in here too with employees who service that," he said.
Although the local and national economy has slowed, Paycom has continued to expand, he said.
