Teavana, "the heaven of tea," will open June 12 at Penn Square Mall. The store is a tea room and retail store featuring fine loose leaf teas and tea-related merchandise such as tea pots. It is the first Oklahoma location for the Atlanta-based retailer. More than 100 varieties of tea are available, including black, green, white, Oolong, herbal and rooibos. Staff members promote the healthy benefits of tea, as well as demonstrate the best ways to make and serve tea.
