Bun and done: How the Archburger will help Oklahoma businesses sizzlePublished: Thursday, January 11, 2018 By: Brian Brus Source: The Journal Record
McDonald’s typically makes a trial run in just one or two markets before a systemwide menu change. Lopez Foods’ part in the Archburger and Quarter Pounder before that helped refine the delivery and preparation process to limit work disruption while employees learn the hot-off-the-grill items.
Sanchez said Oklahoma City can expect the Archburger in local restaurants by about March.
Local franchise operators declined interview requests. The McDonald’s corporate headquarters did not provide comment before deadline Tuesday.
McDonald’s stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol MCD. The stock price has been on an upward trend since November 2016 when it sold for about $111. The stock closed Tuesday at $173.54, down 39 cents for the day.
