Headquartered in Issaquah, Washington, Costco has more than 780 warehouses in 12 countries serving more than 100,000 members. The company currently employs about 400 people in Oklahoma. Costco opened its first store in the state in Tulsa in 2016, and Oklahoma City welcomed its first store in May 2019.

Costco is one of the top retailers in the nation, ranked at No. 4 in the National Retail Federation’s Top 100 Retailers of 2019, behind only Walmart, Amazon and Kroeger, and at No. 1 in the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index.
