Oklahoma City startup hopes to make Internet security easier

Oklahoma City-based startup Who’s On My Wifi to launch campaign to manufacture new simple, safe router.

The Oklahoma City-based startup Who’s On My Wifi hopes to use crowd funding to raise $50,000 to make a simpler, more secure wireless router that integrates with its security software.

“Most routers are kind of clunky and hard to use,” said Who’s On My Wifi co-founder and CEO John Kerber. “Our end goal is to make it as simple and easy as using a TV remote control.”

Who’s On My Wifi has developed a tool for users to detect and track who accesses their wireless Internet network. The software gives users alerts on a user’s smartphone or tablet when someone tries to access their computer network.
