OKC-based Cage creative collaboration software launches new platformPublished: Tuesday, August 22, 2017 By: Paul Monies Source: NewsOK
Fewer emails and meetings, and streamlined communications among team members, are among features of a new version of Cage, a project management application for creative industries developed in Oklahoma City.
Cage, which launched five years ago, has been rebuilt from the ground up with the extensive input of its customers, which includes companies like Best Buy, Crayola, Jim Henson Co. and Lego.
The web-based software is built specifically for creative and production teams who deal with different types of files, multiple deadlines and the need for easy-to-use review processes for clients.
"We've basically, over the last couple of years, worked hand in hand with our customers to work on a new platform," said Sandip Patel, Cage's co-founder and CEO. "It has entirely new code and architecture and was reimagined from the ground up. At the end of the day, most folks want to be able to use a single platform to start and complete a project and all parts in between."
