Oklahoma City could seek bids as soon as next month for construction of the long-planned, four-gate terminal expansion at Will Rogers World Airport.

Airport trustees voted unanimously Thursday to authorize preliminary steps required to obtain financing, with the goal of issuing up to $115 million in bonds.

As designed, the project is estimated to cost $89.3 million and could be ready two years after construction begins.
