Gov. Kevin Stitt signs new Oklahoma film incentive bill into law

Kelley Gann was celebrating the news that an Oklahoma film she produced won a national award when she got word she will likely get the chance to make even more movies in her home state. 

Gov. Kevin Stitt signed into law Monday a $30 million tax incentive designed to create a more robust film program for the state. 

"We're thrilled that it's passed. I think there was so much riding on that, and it was really high stakes, because that's the future of our industry here in Oklahoma," said Gann, who produced Oklahoma City actress and filmmaker Cate Jones' directorial debut "She's the Eldest," which Monday was named top feature film by the Best of New Filmmakers Los Angeles Awards.
