Starting June 22, Oklahoma's Aerospace and Cybersecurity Center of Workforce Excellence will offer unique aerospace training to Oklahoma's oil and gas engineers, enabling them to pursue careers in the aerospace field in Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma A-XP Bridging Skills program will help oil and gas engineers transition into aerospace. The course begins June 22 and runs through July 29, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 - 10 p.m. The course is a result of a partnership between Rose State College and Tulsa Community College (the partners behind the Aerospace and Cybersecurity Center of Workforce Excellence), and OSU-IT, who is responsible for delivering the program. Classes will be held at Rose State's Professional Training Center, 1720 Hudiburg Dr. in Midwest City.
An engineering degree is needed to be accepted into the program, and the cost is $500.00 per person. Register for the class here: http://admissions.osuit.edu/register/AXP1
