Oklahoma ranks No. 2 nationally as most desirable place to invest in oil or gas

The Fraser Institute recently released its 2021 Canada-US Energy Sector Competitiveness Survey, and Oklahoma ranked in the top 10.

The annual survey of oil and gas executives asked 16 questions pertaining to factors known to affect investment decisions, then ranked U.S. states and Canadian provinces in terms of potential investment attractiveness.

The survey of 71 executives from companies primarily focused on conventional oil and natural gas recovery ranked Oklahoma second nationally for the most desirable place for oil and gas investment.
