Venture capital firm gener8tor, sponsored by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, is looking for early-stage startups to participate in upcoming cohort opportunities.

The gBETA accelerator is designed to facilitate growth. This comprehensive, seven-week program offers tailored coaching in the areas of company expansion and investor preparedness. The goal of gBETA is to equip its participants for entry into investment accelerators or successful seed round fundraising. Graduates not only receive post-program support but are also granted access to networking and educational events. If you're interested, mark your calendars because the application window for the fall cohort closes on Sept. 18.

But that's not all. The gener8tor team is also accepting applications for the OKC Investment Accelerator’s spring cohort. This nationally acclaimed, twelve-week program gives each company a substantial $100,000 along with personalized mentorship, coaching and group events. Notably, founders gain access to gener8tor's extensive network of mentors and investors spanning the entire country. Applications for this program must be submitted by Oct. 15.

The previous cohorts ended with a business showcase that resulted in funding opportunities for nine local startups.

• Helion Illumination: Enables first responders to better use drone assets by providing versatile lighting systems to assist in search and rescue, firefighting and law enforcement.
• Weku: Revolutionizes residential electricity in the United States by offering homeowners unlimited access to clean energy for a flat rate of $50 per month.
• Sci-Lume Labs: Pioneers new biobased and biodegradable materials to replace petroleum-derived plastics.
• Nodecraft: Expands, re-engages and monetizes online multiplayer gaming communities.
